The chief clinical scientist at Medipredict and the medical director of Altimmune, Robert Hardi, MD, has been involved in medicine for more than three decades. A graduate of Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, he completed his postdoctoral training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at such institutions as Weill Cornell Medical College. A resident of Bethesda, MD, Dr. Robert Hardi focuses his work on gastroenterology and has been involved in over 350 gastroenterology research trials. Alongside his work at Altimmune and Medipredict, he serves as principal at Chevy Chase Gastroenterology and as a consultant for Physician Associates of MD.

Robert Hardi, MD, has been appointed to several professional roles. He sits on the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research and on the Medical Advisory Committee for the Chron’s and Colitis Foundation. Previously, he served on the Board of Managers for Capital Digestive Care and as chairman of gastroenterology at the Columbia Hospital for Women.
